Registered Massage Therapist (RMT)

Lindsay Shewchuk is a Registered Massage Therapists (RMTs). RMT is a protected title used only by those who have the educational and registration requirements after passing the colleges’ certification exams. In British Columbia, RMTs are governed under the Regulated Health Professions Act and the Massage Therapy Act. This mandates a regulatory body called the College Of Massage Therapists Of British Columbia.

During the 2 year program RMT’s must complete training in several areas including Massage theory, Anatomy, Physiology, Kinesiology, Hydrotherapy and Remedial exercises.
